Our Focus Areas
The Redtails Pinktails Right Tracks Program is built by locals, for locals. This means we understand the unique challenges faced by our remote communities and design our programs to meet those needs. Our key priorities for 2023–2027 are outlined in the five focus areas below.
01
Wellbeing, leadership, and health education sessions.
Focus on smoking, drugs, alcohol misuse, mental health, and family violence.
Integrating sessions into regular club trainings.
02
Using sport as a connection tool with schools, correctional centres, and workplaces.
Reinforcing healthy living, leadership, and resilience through elite sporting pathways.
03
Providing vital resources, equipment, and coaching development.
Enhancing team culture on and off the field.
04
A homegrown Academy supporting junior and senior players.
Mentoring players to maintain school and employment commitments.
05
Hands-on learning in car restoration, mechanics, and trade skills.
Delivered in partnership with Red CentreNATS and CDU, leading to qualifications and employment opportunities.
The RPtails Academy offers a homegrown talent pathway, designed to develop both the athlete and the person. Participants are mentored to ensure they maintain their commitments to school or employment while pursuing elite sporting opportunities.

Join us on the Right Tracks journey and help shape a brighter future for young people in Central Australia. You can make a difference by volunteering as a mentor, coach, or program supporter, sharing your time and skills with those who need it most. Clubs and organisations are encouraged to partner with us, working together to deliver impactful programs that create real community outcomes.
There are also meaningful sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who want to support our participants through funding, resources, or in-kind contributions. By advocating for our program, sharing our story, and amplifying the voices of our young leaders, you help strengthen the foundation of our work and build a stronger, healthier Central Australia.
