Why do we do what we do?
The Redtails Pinktails Right Tracks Program was born out of urgency. Too many young people in Central Australia were being overlooked, not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked opportunity.
We believe that sport can do more than entertain. It can connect, inspire, and transform. It teaches discipline, confidence, and self-worth. It builds bridges between communities. It offers purpose, and sometimes, it even saves lives.
When Rob Clarke lost a young mentee to violence in 2010, it shook the community and him to the core. It revealed a hard truth: some lives were being treated as if they didn’t matter. But we knew they did. That loss became a call to action.
We started this movement because young people need someone to believe in them so that they can believe in themselves. Because families deserve to feel proud. Because communities deserve to heal. And because every person deserves the chance to walk a strong path forward.
That’s why we do what we do. Every morning training session. Every road trip. Every tough talk. Every win and every setback. It’s all about giving our young people what they’ve always deserved: opportunity, pride, and a future.
